http://www.nepcal.com/Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal, who is on an official visit to China, says Nepal’s main agenda with the northern neighbour is ‘connectivity’ in all forms.Nepal wants to have aviation, transportation and communication connections with China, said the Prime Minister speaking at a programme organised by a university in Beijing. “For land-locked Nepal, connectivity is the main issue when it comes to ties with China.” The Prime Minister, who urged the Chinese government to reopen the Tatopani trading point, said Chinese investors are welcome to contribute to the hydroelectricity and infrastructure sectors in Nepal. We especially want Chinese investment in hydro, solar and bio energy, he added.Prachanda said it was his government’s priority to reach an agreement with China on the trade and transit treaty signed last year. -
